How do I get started?
You will receive an email from your school inviting you to create your Qustodio account. Click on the Create your account button in that email or head straight to qustodio.com/my-school. From there:
- Enter the email address that your school has on record (this is usually the address that your invitation was sent to). Click Continue.
- Enter your name and create a password.
- A verification code will be sent to your email address. Enter the code on the verification screen and click Verify. If you don’t receive the code, check your spam folder.
- Ensure that the information of your child’s school account is correct and click Connect.
- Use the dropdown to select your child’s birth year and click Continue. This optional step will give you safety insights personalized to your child’s age.
That’s it! You can start exploring your account and supervising your child. If you would like to supervise alongside another parent or guardian, please follow the instructions here.
Where can I access Qustodio?
Once you’ve created your account, you can log in from any computer at family.qustodio.com.
Alternatively, you can download the Parents App on your smartphone to supervise on the go. Just head to the App Store or Google Play Store, download the app, and log in.
What kind of activity can I monitor and how?
When you log into Qustodio, you’ll see the My family screen. There you can view all the children connected with your account. Click on a child to go to their dashboard.
Your child’s dashboard shows their activity on school-issued devices. This includes the apps and websites they’ve used, the content categories they’ve spent the most time on, their total screen time, and other activities like online searches. Please note that there may be limitations to the type of activity you can see.
Additionally, if the activity timeline is available, you can go there to see more detailed activity in chronological order.
Read more about activity monitoring here.
Finally, if you protect a personal device, you’ll be able to monitor activity on that device too. See how.
What are expert insights and how can I view them?
Written by leading child safety experts with backgrounds in law enforcement, psychology, and education, insights offer you comprehensive reviews of the apps your child has used. They include descriptions, safety ratings, and any known risks.
To view expert insights, just click on any of the apps that appear in the Most used apps & websites card on the dashboard.

Can two parents or guardians monitor a child’s school device?
If both you and another parent or guardian would like to manage your child’s school device, there are two possible ways to do that. Choose the approach that best suits your family and follow the corresponding steps.
A. Recommended for two parents: One parent account with two logins
- If you haven’t yet created your Qustodio account, decide which of you will take on the role of Primary Parent. As the Primary parent, visit qustodio.com/my-school and create your account using the email address your school has on file for you
- Go to Account settings and then the Additional parent section
- Add the other parent or guardian’s email address and invite them to join your Qustodio account
- They will receive an email inviting them to join your account and will then be able to create their own login details.
Both parents will be able to monitor activity and set rules for school and personal devices.
B. Alternative approach for different households: Separate account with individual logins
- Both parents or guardians visit qustodio.com/my-school and create an account using the email address your school has on file for you
- The parent or guardian who creates their account first will see that, in the Rules page, Apply rules is toggled on. This means they can set rules for school-managed devices.
- To hand over management, the first parent should toggle Apply rules off. THe other parent will then be able to toggle it on in their own account and set rules.
With this set up, both parents can see their own rules and the activity generated during the time they are managing the rules. They can’t see the rules the other parent sets or the personal devices the other parent is protecting.
