To protect your child’s iPhone, iPad, or iPod, download and install the Qustodio Kids App onto their device. Read the instructions below to learn how.

Important: When creating your Qustodio account, we recommend using an email address your child does not have access to. Make sure you use this email address every time you log into Qustodio on your devices and when installing Qustodio on your child’s devices. |
To install the Kids App Qustodio on your child’s iOS device, please read below:
Important
- Qustodio is compatible with iOS 14 or higher.
- Qustodio for iOS is a bit different than Qustodio for Android, Mac, and Windows. Some of the features available on Android, Mac, or Windows are not yet available for iOS. Please read these FAQs to learn more about supported features and known issues with Qustodio for iOS.
Before you start
- Make sure Safari is your default browser.
- Make sure that Javascript is activated in Safari: Settings > Safari > Advanced > Javascript.
- Make sure to uninstall any previous version of Qustodio from your device. Please find the instructions in our Help Center.
How to install Qustodio for iOS
1. Open the App Store on the iOS device you want to monitor.
2. Search for Kids App Qustodio
3. Install the Qustodio app.
4. Open Qustodio, and choose between the following:
I am new to Qustodio
5. Create a new account by entering your name and a valid email address that you, and only you, have access to.
6. Then choose a password and tap Get Started.
7. Tap to confirm that you want to set up protection on this device.
8. Enter a name to describe the device
9. Enter your child's details, tap Next to choose an avatar for this profile.
10. Tap to start the installation and enable Qustodio.
11. Tap to allow notifications
12. Tap to download Qustodio profile, then tap Allow
13. Once the profile is downloaded, close the pop-up and tap on the top left corner to close this window: the name of this option can change depending on the device's iOS version.
14. Next, tap to go to settings. Here, tap Profile Downloaded.
15. Tap on the top right corner to install the profile and enter the device's passcode.
16. Read the screen carefully and tap Install in the top right corner. Then tap Trust
17. Once the profile is installed, a notification will appear to confirm the process was successful.
Tap on this notification to continue setting up Qustodio.
18. Let Qustodio Profile automatically complete the configuration.
19. Tap Manage to increase the protection
20. Tap to allow permissions to let Qustodio report the device's location.
21. Tap Allow While Using App, then Change to Always Allow.
22. All done! A screen will confirm that the device is protected.
The device is now protected. You can now close the Kids App and customize your rules from your Parents App or the Family Portal web dashboard from your own parent's device.

6. Log in to your account by entering your email address and password.
7. Tap to confirm that you want to set up protection on this device
8. Enter a name for this device
9. Choose the child who uses this device.
10. Tap to start the installation and enable Qustodio.
11. Tap to allow notifications
12. Tap to download Qustodio profile, then tap Allow
