What happens when you close your Qustodio account?

When you close a Qustodio account, all the information available in your Family Portal is lost and cannot be retrieved. Closing your account will remove the entire history and rules for all children and devices associated with your account.
What happens with my devices?
Closing your account won't remove Qustodio from your devices. You should make sure you uninstall Qustodio from all of your associated devices before closing your account, as your Qustodio credentials are needed to execute this. Check our Help Center for how to uninstall Qustodio from an Android, iOS, Windows or Mac device.
What happens with my Premium subscription?
If you purchased a Premium subscription directly from Qustodio, when you close your account, Qustodio will automatically cancel your subscription and it won’t be renewed at the end of the term.
If you paid via an in-app purchase on the Parents’ App via iTunes/App Store or Google Play Store, the subscription details are held by Apple (for iTunes/App Store purchases) or Google (for Play Store purchases). In order to cancel your subscription, you will need to contact Apple or Google directly, as Qustodio does not hold any billing information concerning your payment. Read this article to learn more.
Who can close my Qustodio account?
Only the account owner can close the account
To complete the process, you need your Qustodio credentials (your email address and password). If you don’t remember your password, read this article for help.
You can ask our Support Team to close your account. In this case, you will have to send us a message from the email account associated to your Qustodio account.
